FREE BOATERS SEMINAR -
Saturday April 9th, 9am - 4pm
Portsmouth Olympic Harbour
53 Yonge St. Kingston | ON K7M 6G4

Are anodes, thru-hulls, propellers, and outdrives dissolving in a matter of months at your dock?  Does your or your neighbour's vessel suddenly exhibit blistering or osmosis below the waterline?  In a fresh-water environment, stray current is most likely the culprit.  Learn how you can control the various types of corrosion, how they occur, and how to prevent them through grounding and bonding techniques, as well as new components available to the boat owner to detect and control corrosion and stray current.  Also learn about ESD (electric shock drowning), and how you the boat or marina owner can save lives.   Other topics will include how design trends and a shrinking US dollar are affecting your boats value; GPS and electronic charting; and proper installation, maintenance and testing of your vessel's safety systems in accordance with Transport Canada and the American Boat and Yacht Council Standards.

Join us for part of the day, or the whole event.  See the Agenda for more details on lecture timings.
Please RSVP by phone or email so we can ensure enough seats for all:
