A Bachelor of Arts and a career in the military have combined well to round out Toby's areas of expertise.  For both Watermark Yacht Portraits and SMS, Toby handles scheduling, web design and publishing, and administrative functions, including keeping the books and editing and proofing the survey reports.  Toby conceptualized the look of both businesses, having designed the logos, and she spearheads the advertising and marketing.

Not born into the world of boating, Toby has experienced a steep learning curve since having been hooked on sailing on our old San Juan 28, "Swiftsure."  She tries to convey her new found beauty of boating in all of her artwork.
